adapted from Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe - Nestle
1 unbaked 9-inch (4 cup volume) deep dish pie shell
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup softend butter (1-1/2 sticks)
1-1/2 cups of a mixture of white chocolate, dark chocolate, and semi-sweet morsels (you can use more if you like it REALLY chocolatey)
1 cup nuts (any type that you like) (optional - I don't use nuts because my son doesn't like them)
Whipped Cream or Ice cream (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
Beat the eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in the flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the butter. Stir in morsels and nuts (if you are using them). Spoon into the pie shell,
Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
**You can also turn it into a Cookie Pie Sundae by topping it with Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, nuts, chocolate drizzle and a cherry on top!
ENJOY!!!!!
wow! I love the sundae idea, too! My nephews would love this....Thanks!
